How Licensing Works

Home

Simply start a new show at any time. On the General Setup page,
you will see the following fields at the top of the form.
The IPC field is a unique identifier associated with your copy of the AECfa software.
The SPC field is a unique identifier automatically assigned to a specific show. This field, in conjunction with the starting date of your show and the entry limit is used to generate a show license key. Unless the correct key for a specific show is entered, the show is limited to 50 entries.
So, you can go ahead and process up to 50 entries for your show.
Then when you've collected enough money, you can purchase your show license.
When you are ready for your license, just complete the online license form and send the payment for the exact entry limit you choose. For example, even if you show format would allow 450 entries, few if any shows today actually get this may entries. Based on you show hall space, past history or other factors, you can decide to set a lower limit, say 325.

This reduces your show license fee by about $44.00, a 28% savings from a 450 entry license!

You receive the license key by email as soon as your payment has been received. Go to the General Setup page, enter your key in the License field and your show is instantly ready to handle entries up to the entry limit you have chosen.
